File format used by TotoCalculator 2:
The online help contains a description of the file formats (*.tmt- and *.tmx-files) used by TotoCalculator 2 and the source code of a little tool to explain it. The latest version of this code can be downloaded here: readtmtfile.c.
Linux and Unix Libraries:
TotoCalculator 2 for Linux, for FreeBSD and for Solaris is linked statically with the library wxWidgets-2.8.12 and dynamically with the library GTK+-2. TotoCalculator 2 for Linux Classic uses the libraries Glib-1.2.10, GTK+-1.2.10 and wxWidgets-2.4.2. GTK+-2, Glib-1.2.10 and GTK+-1.2.10 are covered by the LGPL, wxWidgets is covered by the wxWindows Library Licence.
Section 6 of the LGPL Version 2 requires that a "work that uses the Library" includes any data and utility programs needed for reproducing the executable from it (but need not include anything that is normally distributed with the major components of the operating system on which the executable runs).
TotoCalculator 2 for Linux, for FreeBSD and for Solaris comply with the requirements specified in Section 6 of the LGPL by offering a copy of these libraries here.
There is no need at all to download these files, they are only here to fulfill the requirements of the licence. The build of TotoCalculator with these files will probably only be succesful on the same system they were built on.
